Last weekend was full of big feelings here at the Good Cause Blog. And I’m not just talking about my emotional experience watching #Believeland at the Cleveland International Film Festival. (Cried three times, and I don’t even CARE about sports!) Anyway . . . What I’m really here to share with you are all the exciting updates from Saturday’s marathon Good Cause Creative planning session and pre-launch celebration!
One of the highlights of the weekend was having our whole team sit around the dining room table and share ideas with Mallory Phillips, from Dreamhouse Marketing, who is helping us redefine the look and feel of our message. If you’re not already familiar with our mission and the story behind #GoodCauseCLE – you can get the backstory here or here. You can also check out the video of my winning pitch presentation at the Accelerate NEO competition. The launch of our new website and social media platform is fast approaching – so we’ve identified some key milestones over the next 10 weeks that we want all our followers to be aware of:
May 1st @GoodCauseCLE Call to Action Video Release, Start Accepting Story Submissions from Cleveland Area Non-Profits – winning story wins a FREE, 30-second, Call to Action video celebrating their agency or good cause!
June 14th – Good Cause Blog site launch! The winning non-profit story will be announced at Cleveland Leadership Center’s project update event for Accelerate NEO at Happy Dog Euclid Tavern!
Who should you share this post with? Everyone, Silly! But most importantly, we need to get the message out to these important audiences, and we truly appreciate anything you can do to help!
- Non-profits who want to submit a story or celebrate their good cause as tweeter of the week for @GoodCauseCLE.
- Writers who want to get paid to write inspiring stories about all the good causes in Cleveland and surrounding communities.
- Readers – This includes anyone who you think loves a good story or might want to know more about where their time and money can do the most good in northeast Ohio!
How can you get involved and keep up to date?
